Just pick out any movie from the middle of our store that’s $2.99 or less, take it to the counter, say the magic words, and we’ll rent it to you for free.

Paaaahleese…..They are so super cheap we have to rent an old movie for free, it couldnt be a new release. 4.99 for 3 days is NOT a new low price. I cant wait till they bankrupt.
I went to do the promotion at a Tucson, AZ location and I was terribly disappointed to find out that the store manager had not even heard about the promotion. She informed me that it was a scam, since I did not have a barcode. She went on to say that Blockbuster does not have an official blog. Needless to say, we were very frustrated with Blockbuster’s lack of communication.
I went there with my friend today, and the guy working there said he never heard of anything like that. We paid the full price, and are really really mad about this scam, bc Redbox is only $1! Will never rent a blockbuster ever again! And this article is a trap!

blockbuster is a mere showdow of what it used to be that store never has the newest releses there allways rented out out and they use to have no late fees but i quess they forgot about that promotion as well
