  1. How do I get this crap off my thunderbolt?

  2. Please, please get your POS bloatware off my phone. It’s insulting that it’s uninstallable. Why not adopt a business model that doesn’t involve shoving your bloatware down my throat?

  3. Wow…they can’t send a movie to their online customers to save their lives, yet they have no problem auto deducting your monthly payment for it. As they mismanaged their company to the point of now driving it into bankruptcy, you would think they would have one last glimmer of honesty and integrity of informing their online customers they are in fact DOA instead of taking your money and giving you nothing for it. I smell fraud! 30 movies in queue, some new most older flicks released months ago and the entire page has been “unavailable”. All they offer in reply is “add more movies to the queue”. Why, I already know how to spell “unavailable”.

  4. I want your parasitic trash off of my phone, today. I have complained to Verizon and Google. I pray Blockbuster’s chapter 11 becomes a chapter 7.

  5. Yay! Now you can instantly watch your battery drain on your phone. The fact that this is uninstallable on my phone ensures that I’ll never consider doing business with Blockbuster in any way shape or form. I’m telling everyone I know to do the same.

  6. I thought I’d give your App a test run and I want to know how can I get the $5.0 credit. I activated my device and I don’t see it. Is there a gimmick or something?

  7. Shayaan, you can get the $5 credit by activating Blockbuster On Demand service on your phone. Just load the Blockbuster app, and it will ask if you want to activate. Follow the steps to activate, and then you’ll get an email with your code good for $5 in Blockbuster Bucks.

  8. Are these movies streamed or downloaded?
    Does it actually work?

    Chad on October 22, 2011 10:37 pm
  9. They are downloaded.

  10. Please fix this app so there is an uninstall option
Because I do not want it on my phone.

  11. Googling Blockbuster complaints produces “about 2,360,000 results” in a mere 0.12 seconds, which gives consumers good reason to *NEVER* activate the blockbuster app that unfortunately comes pre-installed on so many mobile devices.

A few of my neighbors have been sucked in by Dish Network’s services, which promised new releases from Blockbuster. But, they still find themselves with nothing to watch …
Unless you’re a huge fan of lousy movies that are constantly repeated, and have no desire to ever get a truly new release of any movie worth seeing? DON’T SUBSCRIBE TO *EITHER* ONE:

In these many months, I can only remember a few movies they’ve had in their collective hands that I watched. I’ve yet to see anything on their TVs that held my attention for more that a few minutes at a time. In fact? They often ask me to lend or record them something that I’ve obtained both free and legally from the Internet or local broadcasting. My monthly subscription fee? $0.00.

When the headlines read, “DISH to Close 500 Blockbuster Stores” and “FCC Pinches Dish Network …” why would *any* consumer enter a contract with either company?

Rest assured that this one never has, and I never will.
