These are movies that share the same name but aren’t remakes of the same film. I realized the confusion this causes after a DVR incident of recording the wrong film with the same name last week. I was seriously irritated when I settled in to start my movie and realized what happened. The husband was sympathetic only after much snickering, which was not enjoyed by all. Read More

Blockbuster is now on Pinterest!
I’m really excited to introduce Blockbuster’s new account on Pinterest! For those of you who have only gone so far as to try to pronounce Pinterest, let me explain a bit about it.
Pinterest is an incredibly popular and fast-growing social networking site that allows you to save and share your favorite things on virtual pinboards. You can have as many or as few collections as you like. I’ve found everything from simple do-it-yourself craft ideas to iPhone gadgets to Motorcycle Dog. My favorite categories include easy recipes, fashion, and household tips. It’s fun to discover and follow people with similar tastes and see who repins and “likes” your stuff back.
The Blockbuster collections are inspired by movies, games, television and the complete entertainment experience. We want to share cinematic history, viewing suggestions, home entertainment ideas, snacks for TV watching, and more. Let us know what you think in the comments below. What would you like us to share?
Happy pinning!

Well done by everyone. Read More
